Job Title: Software Architect

Overview

This position involves managing and developing the core back-end application and functionality for a VMX display and interactive communication platform.

Key responsibilities include managing existing Content Management, Channels Programming, Scheduling, Permissions, Account Management, Reporting and Analytics features.

New Features and Enhancements

Develop new features and enhancements, focusing on innovation for the next 12 months. This includes work on sensors, meta-tags, visual search, inbound APIS, and outbound API development.

Collaborate with the Business team on product specifications, CX/UX, front-end team for integrations, and Operations team for UAT.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional full-time work experience in a similar role.
  • C# on .Net Framework 4.8 / .NET Core with SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI, Entity Framework, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core.
  • Design and implementation of RESTFul Services, SOA.
  • Object-oriented analysis, design & programming.
  • Awareness of NuGet and surrounding ecosystem.
  • Experience with Subversion or Git.
  • Awareness of application and API security best-practices.
  • Exposure to continuous integration / continuous deployment.
  • Cursory familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
