Our team requires a skilled Manager who will oversee all trade-related documentation and operations, including trade contracts, purchase & sale invoices, delivery challans, delivery orders, and goods receipt notes. The successful candidate will also supervise cotton execution documents and manage field selectors. They will coordinate internally and externally to procure cotton effectively.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to calculate daily Mark to Market (MTM) counterparty risk. They will also be responsible for coordinating with the finance department to perform tasks such as booking purchases, sales, transfers, etc., in the system. Additionally, they will verify all documents for accuracy, including sales tax calculations, transport documentation like road permits/way-bills, carrier responsibilities, and dispatch documentation.

The selected candidate will perform book closing procedures, including monthly stock reconciliation, physical stock verification, and preparing monthly stock reports. They will also communicate with all stakeholders involved in the cotton trade, such as brokers, ginners, customers, and cotton selectors.

Key Responsibilities include verifying vendor/service provider bills against work orders for correctness and authenticity, reviewing legal documents regarding scope and expiry, and amending them as per regulatory, business, or legal needs. The successful candidate will also maintain proper filing and documentation for future reference and audits.

Additionally, they will release reports on a daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, and yearly basis, and maintain and update the inventory file daily. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing cotton positions and assisting in cotton imports. Escalating issues to higher levels when necessary is also a critical aspect of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Business Graduate or ACCA qualification
  • 6-8 years of experience in domestic execution
