The role of System Administrator involves overseeing the day-to-day operation of our data center and server farm. This requires strong technical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and great communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Center and Server Farm Provisioning: Perform daily tasks to ensure smooth operation of the data center and server farm, including capacity planning.
  • Network Security: Develop and enforce multi-site network security measures through regular assessments and risk analysis to protect against cyber threats.
  • IT Policy and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation of IT policies, SOPs, and network configurations.
  • Server Health Monitoring: Monitor and troubleshoot server health issues, performance, and upgrade activities.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery: Plan and implement regular backup and disaster recovery processes.
  • Network Infrastructure Management: Schedule improvements, modifications, or replacement of server applications in network infrastructure at head office and sites.
  • Network Device Maintenance: Install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot routers, gateways, firewalls, surveillance cameras, DVR, and NVR.
  • Helpdesk Services: Provide SLA-based helpdesk services through phone calls/email/ticketing.
  • IT Asset Management: Oversee company IT assets/inventory tagging and reconciliation with the asset database.

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in organizing and multitasking.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to act as a lead for overall networks.

This is a highly responsible position that requires a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership skills. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center and server farm, which includes developing and enforcing network security measures, maintaining accurate records and documentation, and providing helpdesk services. You will also be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting server health issues, implementing regular backup and disaster recovery processes, and managing network infrastructure.
