Job Description:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of our Occupational Health and Safety Management System. Your expertise in health and safety processes will ensure alignment with ISO 45001 standards and other applicable regulations.

You will develop and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies, procedures, and documentation. Additionally, you will conduct regular hazard identification and risk assessments to identify workplace hazards and potential risks to employee health and safety.

Your role involves collaborating with relevant departments to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. You will communicate and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols across the organization.

You will lead investigations into workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses. Your responsibilities also include implementing corrective and preventive actions and ensuring accurate and timely reporting to regulatory authorities.

Other key responsibilities include developing and maintaining emergency response plans and procedures. You will conduct regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of emergency response protocols.

You will provide training to employees on health and safety policies, procedures, and their roles in maintaining a safe work environment. Your goal is to promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance.

To achieve this, you will establish and maintain systems for monitoring and measuring health and safety performance. You will analyze data to identify trends, evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs, and drive continuous improvement.

You will plan and conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with ISO 45001 standards. Your responsibilities also include communicating health and safety performance to internal and external stakeholders.

Engagement with employees and management to gather feedback and address health and safety concerns is crucial. You will coordinate external audits by certification bodies and regulatory agencies. Ensuring the organization's readiness for external assessments and certifications is also part of your role.
