AI Systems Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead our AI feature development and reliability efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience managing high-performing teams, driving cross-functional initiatives, and overseeing data analysis and model performance.

This role is responsible for:

  • Building and growing a team of engineers focused on AI system reliability and performance
  • Leading efforts to detect, diagnose, and mitigate failures and degradation across AI features in production
  • Designing tools and dashboards to surface anomalies and edge cases
  • Driving initiatives to improve monitoring, observability, and data quality
  • Overseeing data analysis, annotation processes, and AI system workflows to improve model performance
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation for AI workflows
  • Monitoring key AI performance metrics and implementing strategies for optimization

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience managing high-performing engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of AI feature development lifecycles and data pipelines
  • Proven experience with root cause analysis, reliability engineering, or debugging complex distributed systems
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to dig deep into data to uncover insights
  • Experience working cross-functionally with ML researchers, product managers, and data engineers
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and reporting
