Job Opportunity: Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at a reputable organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the gas or energy industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of various mechanical projects.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive feasibility reports for management review.
  • Conduct material inspections and recommend acceptance or rejection based on quality assurance protocols and standards.
  • Evaluate technical bids for engineering goods such as scrubbers, filter separators, and valves.
  • Prepare technical feasibility assessments for mechanical projects.
  • Apply knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, practices, and standards within the gas or energy industry.
  • Monitor project execution at construction sites and ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Verify project schedules and timelines, highlighting potential issues.
  • Collaborate with vendors for mechanical components and services.
  • Identify and assess potential risks associated with mechanical projects and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in the installation, construction, and commissioning of mechanical projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the gas or energy industry.
  • PEC registration is mandatory.
