We are working with a Trading House looking to hire a Research Agronomist to join their team.

Key Responsibilities / Tasks
  1. Design and supervise research methodology for crop estimation contributing to the progression of the research strategy.
  2. Collection and review of primary and secondary data ensuring consistency of data collection and reporting.
  3. Presentation of risks to the crop estimate by pre-empting various scenarios assessing macro/micro impact on yields and associated probabilities.
  4. Analyse trends, evaluate behaviours, make conclusions, and communicate findings with relevant colleagues and partners.
  5. Role reports to senior executive team.

Key Qualifications / Experience

  1. Masters in Agriculture (Specialization in Agronomy).
  2. Strong working knowledge in MS Office and analytical skills.
  3. 4+ years' experience.
  4. Willing to travel upcountry for crop tours and methodology implementation.
  5. Location: Pakistan or willing to relocate.
