Job Opportunity

A seasoned professional is sought after to spearhead the development and execution of a comprehensive Big Data platform strategy, ensuring seamless alignment with organizational objectives and effective utilization of Azure Big Data services. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for the Big Data platform, integrating business goals and leveraging Azure Big Data capabilities.
  • Lead capacity planning efforts and contribute to Planning It (PI) initiatives for optimal resource allocation.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing Big Data engineering team.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Scrum, Planning, Retrospective, and Review sessions, ensuring efficient task assignment and prompt resolution of blockers.
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Ensure reliable operation and continuous improvement of Azure Big Data pipelines and platform.
  • Drive project execution from backlog grooming to release management, encompassing daily pipeline monitoring and prompt P2 issue resolution.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders, providing clear communication on project progress, performance, and addressing queries effectively.
  • Promote adherence to data quality, governance, and security best practices within the Azure Big Data environment.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to ensure adherence to code review guidelines and contribute to robust release processes.
