Job Title

Our organization is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist Utilities to join our team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of utility equipment, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally and in compliance with safety standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely and effective servicing of utility equipment.
  • Monitor and control operational processes to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Work closely with other departments to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes as needed.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and performance metrics.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members on utility equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of utility equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and develop creative solutions.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to align utility operations with business goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the utilities industry.
  • Proven track record of improving efficiency and reducing costs through process optimization and innovation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
