Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new features from scratch, building robust and scalable solutions using Ruby and web application development.
  • Write end-to-end tested software, ensuring high-quality code that meets our standards.
  • Deploy production changes daily, prioritizing speed and efficiency in web development.
  • Contribute meaningfully to the direction of the product and team, sharing expertise and insights in software development.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and paradigms, applying innovative solutions to complex problems in programming.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Ruby on Rails: 2+ years of experience in Ruby and web application development, with recent relevant experience using Rails 5.
  • Database Management: Knowledgeable in PostgreSQL and SQL query language, able to write and optimize SQL queries for efficient database management.
  • Front-End Development: Experienced in modern web protocols and markup languages, including CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, AJAX, and cross-browser compatibility for seamless user experiences.
  • Drive and Initiative: The drive to own high-impact projects from day one, taking ownership and responsibility for results in software development.
  • Analytical Skills: Great analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex problems and identify effective solutions in programming.
  • Restful APIs Integration: Experience integrating Restful APIs into web applications for efficient data exchange.
  • Mobile App Optimization: Knowledge of optimizing technology for mobile apps, ensuring seamless user experiences across different platforms.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with source code management tools, such as GitHub, for collaborative software development.
