Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Web Development Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing dynamic websites using PHP and WordPress.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring they are responsive, user-friendly, and adhere to accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA).
  2. Implement custom themes, plugins, and integrations to meet client-specific needs.
  3. Write clean, efficient, and reusable PHP code for custom features, APIs, and integrations.
  4. Optimize websites for performance, scalability, and security (e.g., HTTPS, SSL).
  5. Conduct accessibility audits and ensure compliance with WCAG standards.
  6. Perform cross-browser, cross-device testing to ensure consistent functionality.
  7. Build and integrate tools such as forms, query lookups, and calculators.
  8. Ensure seamless integration with third-party tools and APIs (e.g., social media, analytics).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with the following qualifications:
  1. Technical Skills:
    • Proven experience with WordPress development, including custom themes, plugins, and integrations.
    • Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
    • Experience with WCAG compliance and accessibility-first web design.
    • Familiarity with performance optimization tools (e.g., caching, CDNs).
  2. Tools and Platforms:
    • Experience with Gutenberg editor, ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), and WooCommerce.
    • Proficiency in using Git for version control.
    • Familiarity with design tools like Figma or Adobe XD for translating mockups to code.
  3. Soft Skills:
    • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a remote team.
  4. Experience:
    • Minimum 3+ years of experience in WordPress and PHP development.
    • Experience with React.js for front-end functionality is a strong advantage.
