We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable professional to lead our AP team in Foodpanda Pakistan. As a Senior AP Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely accounts payable reports, liaising with vendors, and ensuring the efficient working of all financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Account Payable Processing: Process accounts payable documents, including POs, GRNs, and invoices, to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
  2. Vendor Liaison: Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries, negotiate payment terms, and ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
  3. Budget Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement budgetary plans to ensure efficient use of company resources.
  4. Payment Authorization and Reconciliation: Authorize payment transactions, reconcile bank statements, and ensure accuracy of entries recorded in the ERP system.
  5. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and review monthly closing reports, VAT reports, and sales tax submissions to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ACCA Qualified/Affiliate/Member: Possess relevant accounting certifications and qualifications.
  • Core Finance Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in core finance roles, preferably in accounts payable or treasury.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, SAP, and other relevant software tools.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholders and teams.
