Financial Operations Manager

Role Overview:
As Associate, General Account Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes. You will be responsible for managing the department's daily activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial transactions, and providing exceptional support to internal stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities:
- Process and record payments accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and submit financial reports to stakeholders on a timely basis.
- Maintain accurate records and schedules of assets and liabilities.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve operational issues.
- Participate in regular audits and ensure compliance with AKU's policies.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Relevant qualifications in finance, such as ICMA finalist/ACCA finalist/BBA in Finance or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in finance, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, income tax, and sales tax laws.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other computer packages.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
