Virtual Infrastructure Specialist Role

This is a key position within our organization that requires an individual with extensive experience in managing and optimizing virtual infrastructure environments.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and related virtual infrastructure technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer, configure, and maintain virtual infrastructure solutions to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability.
  • Design and deploy virtual environments based on business needs and capacity planning.
  • Perform detailed performance tuning for both virtual and physical infrastructure.
  • Conduct capacity planning and forecasting to ensure efficient resource utilization and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to high availability and disaster recovery configurations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in technical support or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and virtual machine migrations.
  • Proficiency in HA/DR configurations and infrastructure monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with change management processes and best practices.
