Head of Production Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the production team, managing large-scale video and creative editing projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Editor Training and Guidance: Provide coaching and mentorship to editors to ensure they meet HIU standards and utilize company guides and templates.
  • Managing Communication between Editors and Office: Foster effective communication among editors and office staff to streamline work processes and improve collaboration.
  • Receiving Work from Editors: Receive and review editor-submitted content to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Overall Creative Authority: Possess final decision-making authority on all creative aspects of projects.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality assurance measures to guarantee high-quality outputs.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience in managing multiple tasks and personnel is essential for success in this role.

Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this position, applicants must have a thorough understanding of the three HIU Editing Roles and be familiar with the Editing Practices outlined in HIU guidelines. Additionally, they should demonstrate adaptability, resourcefulness, and calmness under pressure.
