The Role

We are seeking a skilled Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team. This is a key position that will play a vital role in the development of new web applications, maintenance and troubleshooting of existing ones, and writing reliable Ruby code.

About the Job Description:

  • Designing and developing new web applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications, identifying and resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Writing and maintaining clean, efficient, and well-documented Ruby code, following industry best practices.
  • Integrating data storage solutions, connecting applications with additional web servers, and maintaining APIs.
  • Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements into back-end components.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Experience working with Ruby on Rails, including libraries such as Resque and RSpec.
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented Ruby code.
  • Proficiency with code versioning tools, including Git and GitHub.
  • Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, RESTful, and ORM concepts.
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
  • Knowledge of server-side templating languages, such as Slim and Liquid.
