Logistic Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage logistics operations to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate the full order cycle, including transportation, warehouse management, and inventory control.
  • Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers to negotiate agreements and resolve issues.
  • Monitor quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and operational efficiency.
  • Organize warehouse space, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipments to meet customer needs.
  • Address any arising problems or complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Supervise, coach, and train warehouse staff to ensure productivity and accuracy.
  • Maintain cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets through effective planning and execution.
Job Specification:
  • A Logistics Manager must possess excellent communication skills and be able to multitask with attention to detail.
  • Negotiation skills are essential for success in this role, as national and international communication is critical.
  • The ability to understand basic accounting principles and demonstrate numeracy is necessary to fulfill this position's requirements.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite is also required.
