Head Chef Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in culinary management and be able to develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to meet quality standards and cater to diverse tastes.
  • Oversee the preparation and serving of meals to ensure high-quality standards are met.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in culinary management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and train team members.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to resolve conflicts and issues promptly.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
