Job Opportunity: Tax Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our International and Corporate Transformation Tax team, you will be responsible for providing value-added tax and consulting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Obtain and verify client data regarding VAT and Withholding Tax.
  2. Prepare and file Zakat, Income Tax, VAT, and Withholding Tax returns on behalf of clients.
  3. Assist clients in responding to tax assessments.
  4. Provide regular tax-related support to clients.
  5. Coordinate with clients on e-invoicing matters in KSA.
  6. Work closely with the corporate finance team to review Zakat and VAT working within the financial model.
  7. Conduct tax due diligence for clients alongside the corporate finance team.
  8. Prepare transfer pricing reports for clients, including Local and Master files.
  9. Analyze data necessary for transfer pricing reports and gather relevant information from clients.
  10. Liaise with clients to obtain necessary data and information.
  11. Perform other tax-related tasks assigned by clients.
  12. Recommend tax strategies aligned with business objectives.
  13. Stay updated on GCC tax laws and regulations.
  14. Communicate effectively with clients to resolve tax issues.
  15. Provide relevant reports to management and stakeholders as required.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build professional relationships.
  • Expert-level multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks based on situations.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under time constraints.
  • In-depth knowledge of GCC tax laws and regulations.
  • Experience with statutory audits is an advantage.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or ACCA/CA certification.

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in top audit firms in Pakistan.
