Indirect Tax Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned Tax professional to lead our Indirect Tax engagements in Lahore, Pakistan. As a key member of the team, you will oversee large VAT implementation projects and provide strategic advice to clients on indirect taxes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Delivery: Lead successful delivery of Indirect Tax engagements, taking a practical and commercial approach while ensuring technical excellence.
  • Team Management: Manage large VAT implementation teams consisting of both client functional experts and consultant specialists, identify opportunities in the market, and develop our commercial proposition for new and existing clients.
  • Client Relationships: Establish and maintain strong tax relationships with clients, advise them on indirect tax implications such as value-added tax (VAT) or good and services tax (GST), and assist in complying with customs regulations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an accounting firm, preferably with expertise in Indirect Tax.
  • Excellent written and presentational English skills.
  • Proven experience handling a moderate-sized client portfolio.
  • Experience managing a team of at least 3-4 members.
