Anaesthesia Specialist

As a specialist in anaesthesia care, you will be responsible for performing preoperative assessments of patients and providing perioperative anaesthesia care during surgical procedures.

This role involves working closely with the medical team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. You will also be required to carry out related procedures under the supervision of a consultant.

• Conduct thorough preoperative anaesthesia assessments to identify potential risks and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Deliver high-quality perioperative anaesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery, taking into account their individual needs and medical histories.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care throughout the hospital stay.
• Develop and maintain strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and colleagues.

• Hold an MBBS degree from a reputable university; additional diplomas or MCPS in relevant fields are preferred.
• Have at least seven years of post-MBBS experience in related areas, including leadership roles and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Demonstrate expertise in decision-making, problem-solving, and crisis management.
• Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and advancements in anaesthesia care, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, prioritizing patient confidentiality and dignity.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the continuous enhancement of patient care services.
