Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented warehouse assistant to perform routine day-to-day activities for loading, unloading, and storing raw and packing materials in our plant. The ideal candidate will have strong labor handling skills, be able to work effectively under supervision, and ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials.

Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading

The successful candidate will handle raw and packing materials from various vendors into our plant, ensuring all requirements for warehousing and material storage are met from a food safety and AIB perspective. They will unload materials from pallets as per requisitions issued by production, count the material, and hand it over following material handling practices.

Material Handling and Storage

The warehouse assistant will regularly keep stocks in rotation to ensure AIB and food safety requirements, ensure proper handling of material to avoid damages and losses, and optimize use of warehousing space for the storage of all materials and stacking of materials according to standards.

Quality Assurance and Compliance

The ideal candidate will implement and ensure adherence to quality and AIB standards and various guidelines issued from time to time, assist in conducting physical stock counts of all materials at month-end closing or whenever required, and reconcile stock status appearing in books of accounts with physical stock count conducted.

Safety and GMP Procedures

The warehouse assistant will ensure that proper GMP and safety procedures are followed for the movement and storage of materials in raw and packing materials RMWHs, maintain good housekeeping and product safety to ensure compliance against AIBI, IPS, FSSC 22000, and CRP standards.

Requirements
  • Matriculation or intermediate education preferred.
