Job Description:

Specialist Digital Products & Services Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Specialist Digital Products & Services Development team. As a key member of this team, you will serve as a liaison between departments and IS&T organization, collecting, analyzing, developing, documenting, communicating business requirements, and supporting user testing to achieve business goals.

The structure of the team you will be joining includes a 10-member team with 2 sub-teams, where you will be part of a 3-member sub-team reporting to the Manager Digital Solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Identify problems within a business and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Design new digital solutions and formulate ways for businesses to improve based on research.
  • Oversee the implementation of new digital technologies and systems and lead new digital initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Sciences, with Master's degree and relevant certifications being a plus.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in software development lifecycle, digital solutions, and open source technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, frameworks, and libraries.
  • Understanding of server-side templating languages, HTML5, CSS3, RESTful APIs, and JSON Web Token.
  • Experience with front-end development tools and code versioning tools like Git, SVN.
  • Experience developing RESTful services with Node.js and knowledge of Android UI principles, design patterns, and publishing on Google Play Store.
  • Familiarity with sensors, cloud messaging APIs, push notifications, and CI/CD pipelines.
