Cloud Data Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in the role of Cloud Data Specialist. As a key member of our technology engineering practice, you will be responsible for designing and engineering software solutions with a focus on customer experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have strong expertise in data warehousing concepts, cloud-based technologies, and DevOps methodologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Terraform scripting, Unix shell scripting, and Groovy scripting for automation.

About the Role:

  • Design and engineer software solutions with a focus on customer/user experience.
  • Contribute to the technology engineering practice by sharing subject matter expertise, best practices, and learnings.
  • Drive adherence to standards and policies within the technology engineering practice.
  • Deliver and support data-related infrastructure and architecture to optimize data storage and consumption across the bank.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong Java development skills including core Java, Spring framework, and components.
  • Experience working on automation using Jenkins, artifact repositories, GitHub, Nexus, Groovy, and source repositories.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  • Knowledge of Control-M or any scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge of DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience delivering projects from requirements to implementation under Agile methodologies.
