We are seeking a highly skilled Cognos report designer and developer to support our reporting and analytics needs.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong skills in developing advanced SQL queries and a solid understanding of IBM Cognos reporting tools.
  • They will design, develop, and maintain Cognos reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
  • Responsibilities include writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications is essential.
  • Performing testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and report functionality is crucial.
  • Supporting ad-hoc reporting needs and providing training to end-users as necessary.
Key Skills
  • 3+ years of experience in developing reports using IBM Cognos Analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL development (complex queries, joins, and performance tuning).
  • Basic knowledge and experience with Framework Manager (FM) modeling.
  • Understanding of relational database concepts and data warehousing.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
