Overview
We are seeking a Cognos Report Developer to join our team and support our reporting and analytics needs. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in developing advanced SQL queries and a solid understanding of IBM Cognos reporting tools. Experience or knowledge of the utility industry is highly preferred.

What Will Be Your New Role

• Design, develop, and maintain Cognos reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.

• Write and optimize advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.

• Work with Framework Manager (FM) models to perform basic maintenance and enhancements.

• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Perform testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and report functionality.

• Support ad-hoc reporting needs and provide training to end-users as necessary.

What Are We Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in developing reports using IBM Cognos Analytics.

• Strong proficiency in SQL development (complex queries, joins, and performance tuning).

• Basic knowledge and experience with Framework Manager (FM) modeling.

• Understanding of relational database concepts and data warehousing.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
