Production Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Production Manager to oversee our board line division. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in production environments and sound knowledge of production techniques.

  1. Job Summary:

The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining output quality, driving process improvements, and ensuring seamless coordination of labor and materials.

  • Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily production operations on the board line floor to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
• Implement and monitor production plans based on targets, resource availability, and customer demands.
• Collaborate with planning and maintenance teams to align on schedules and reduce downtime.
• Manage workforce allocation, shift planning, and ensure effective labor utilization.
• Analyze production metrics (output, rejection rates, efficiency) and initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Enforce safety protocols and best practices within the work area.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in lean/kaizen activities.
• Maintain production documentation, logs, and reports for operational transparency and audits.
• Coordinate with the quality and procurement teams to ensure timely material availability and quality compliance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing Engineering
4-5 years of relevant experience in production operations, preferably in the wood, furniture, or related manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of production processes, board material handling, and production planning
Proven ability in labor supervision, manpower planning, and conflict resolution
Working knowledge of production-related software or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
Good interpersonal and communication abilities
Willigness to work in shifts and high-paced factory environments
