Key Laboratory Position

The position involves performing routine and specialized laboratory tests to support disease diagnosis, treatment, and prevention.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect, label, and prepare biological specimens for testing.
  • Conduct blood counts, urinalysis, and cultures as part of laboratory testing.
  • Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, analyzers, and microscopes.
  • Record and analyze test results accurately, reporting findings to physicians or supervisors.
  • Ensure proper documentation and confidentiality of patient information.
  • Calibrate instruments and participate in quality control procedures.
  • Follow strict safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
  • Dispose of biohazardous waste according to safety regulations.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of lab supplies.
  • Participate in internal audits and accreditation compliance.
Qualifications and Skills

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field is required. Additionally, knowledge of lab equipment, procedures, and medical terminology is essential.

Preferred Experience and Qualities

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
