Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laboratory settings, a strong understanding of medical terminology, and excellent communication skills.

The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for performing routine laboratory tests, collecting and preparing biological specimens, and operating laboratory equipment. They must ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of test results while maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect, label, and prepare biological specimens (e.g., blood, urine, swabs) for testing.

  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, analyzers, and microscopes.
  • Record and analyze test results accurately, reporting findings to physicians or supervisors.
Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate will have a diploma or bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field, and at least 3-5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
