Accounting Manager Position Overview

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled accounting manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing GL related accounting policies and procedures, checking General Ledger and Trial Balance of all companies, authenticating cost of goods sold statement, and preparing monthly management accounts within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GL requirements.
  2. Conduct regular checks on General Ledger and Trial Balance to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  3. Authenticate cost of goods sold statements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Prepare monthly management accounts within defined timelines to provide stakeholders with timely financial information.
  5. Finalize quarterly statutory accounts and annually statutory accounts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Provide necessary information to government agencies as required by corporate office.
  7. Maintain intercompany/associate company balances up-to-date and reconciled.
  8. Liaise with Tax Department for any information/data required for EDB/Tax Returns and SECP filing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of GL related accounting policies and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
