Software Quality Engineer

The position of Software Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the high quality of software solutions. This role works closely with software developers and architects to identify, isolate and solve issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Test Plans
- Record and document results and compare to expected results.
- Detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected.
- Document and report issues; track issue resolution.
- Participate in application planning meetings.
- Establishing and maintaining an automated testing infrastructure.
- Building and enhancing test automation scripts.
- Implementing Continuous Integration of automated tests using Jenkins.
- Understanding the application and its environment to develop automation approach.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a software development environment as a programmer or tester.
- Experience with QA Automation tools.
- Ability to write automated scripts for testing User Interfaces, REST-based APIs and Web Services.
- Experience in problem/issue identification, documentation, tracking and resolution.
- Excellent analytical and organization skills.
- The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
