Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to contribute to our team's success.

  • The successful candidate will oversee the implementation of cloud-based solutions and ensure they meet the required standards.
  • They will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain automation scripts using puppet technologies.
  2. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines.
  3. Design and implement secure and efficient cloud-based infrastructure.
  4. Provide expert-level support for Linux systems and associated technologies.
  5. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve infrastructure efficiency.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 3-7 years of experience in a similar role.
  2. Puppet Scripting: experience in scripting and building required automation using standard technologies.
  3. Puppet Automation: Develop automation code to deploy and maintain systems and applications using application orchestration software.
  4. DevOps: familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tooling.
  5. Virtualization: Facility with the techniques used to virtualize servers, applications, and desktops. Knowledge of the data center requirements to implement each technology.
  6. Must have hands-on working with the automation tool i.e. Ansible, Chef.
  7. Experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform and Cloud Formation.
  8. Experience with CI/CD toolchain (Kubernetes).
  9. Basic level scripting experience (Python, Ruby, Bash, Powershell).
  10. Experience with Linux distributions (Rhel 8, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Amazon Linux).
  11. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  12. Flexible attitude and versatile personality.
