Description
The role involves strategic planning, implementation, and monitoring of projects, initiatives, and key performance indicators (KPIs). As a Sales Planning Executive, you will be responsible for establishing effective monitoring through reports and dashboards of sales activities and targets across all channels.
You will collaborate with regional teams to enhance capability, advocacy, and product penetration at retail outlets. This includes assigning sales targets to sub-regions to ensure business growth, anticipating challenges, and advising regional teams on solutions.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring retail audits for the retail agent network, developing strategies with regional management to boost sales and growth, and supporting ad-hoc analyses to assist management decision-making.
You will also conduct weekly/monthly performance meetings with regional teams, visit markets monthly, and be responsible for network rollout planning, site relocation, 4G upgrades, and geo-marketing analysis.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Strategic planning and implementation of projects and KPIs.
- Effective monitoring through reports and dashboards of sales activities and targets.
- Collaboration with regional teams to enhance capability, advocacy, and product penetration.
- Assignment of sales targets to sub-regions for business growth.
Requirements
To become a successful Sales Planning Executive, you will need:
- Business understanding.
- Data interpretation and quantitative skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Storytelling and presentation skills.
- Ability to focus on sales organization priorities.
- Translating data into actionable insights.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment.
Educational qualifications: MBA, MCS, BBA, or BCS. Experience: 2-4 years in domains such as Telco, FMCG, Tobacco, or Startups, focusing on Performance Management, BI & Analytics, Product Planning, or Trade Marketing with P&L responsibility.
