Overview

A senior UI/UX Designer and UI Developer plays a vital role in shaping the digital experience of our users. In this position, you will be responsible for designing user interfaces, mockups, wireframes, and prototypes using tools like Figma, Photoshop, or similar.


As a key member of our team, you will translate client requirements into visual design assets and responsive layouts. You will also write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery to produce working websites in our CMS platform. Additionally, you will write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery to style and edit custom widgets in our CMS platform.


Responsibilities also include troubleshooting of JavaScript errors, CSS bugs, Accessibility errors, etc., using Chrome Inspector tool. QA work is also required before submission to Bookassist.


This role requires a strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI design skills and ability to create user-centered, visually compelling interfaces. A firm understanding of Responsive Design techniques and principles is also necessary. Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, or other Adobe Creative Suite programs is essential.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience designing and building websites.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI design skills and ability to create user-centered, visually compelling interfaces.
  • Experience hand-coding HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Firm understanding of Responsive Design techniques and principles.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, or other Adobe Creative Suite programs.
  • Good communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions.
  • Ability to create front-end code (HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery) based on a visual design file (e.g., PSD, Figma).
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot intermediate-level errors (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to learn new systems, platforms, and technologies related to the position.
  • Ability to take direction as well as self-manage time and tasks.
