We are seeking an experienced Sales Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and directing the work of others in achieving sales objectives.
">You will oversee an organization's sales policies, objectives and initiatives, setting short- and long-term sales strategies and evaluating their effectiveness. Determining annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies is crucial for success in this role.
">Key responsibilities include establishing sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
">You will implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans. Maintaining sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors is also important.
">A key aspect of this role is managing, developing, coaching, controlling and motivating the sales force to develop their skills and ensure high professional standards are achieved.
">Ensuring targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition is essential. Assessing the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and managing the sales program accordingly is critical.
">This role involves meeting with customers to discuss their evolving needs and assessing the quality of our company's relationship with them.
">Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to capture key demographics is also key. Continually developing knowledge of the business climate, applications and competition for defined geography and accounts is also crucial.
">Maintaining data relative to partners, accounts and activities and documenting customer interactions is important. Preparing reporting as needed is also essential.
