Business Analyst Role

The role of a senior analyst is to provide actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and drive business outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced professional with 6+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in digital/OTT/e-commerce environments, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of marketing strategies, user segmentation, and retention principles, as well as strong experience in SQL and familiarity with Python, model-building, or ML tools.

The senior analyst will analyze user behavior and subscription data to identify drivers of churn, conversion, and retention, build and maintain customer acquisition cost/lifetime value models to support ROI optimization across marketing and content acquisition, and develop predictive models and machine learning solutions to improve customer experience and retention.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across strategy, marketing, product, and tech to deliver advanced analytical insights, conduct deep dives into key business trends, and translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders through dashboards, presentations, and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze user behavior and subscription data to identify drivers of churn, conversion, and retention.
  • Build and maintain customer acquisition cost/lifetime value models to support ROI optimization across marketing and content acquisition.
  • Develop predictive models and machine learning solutions to improve customer experience and retention.
  • Conduct deep dives into key business trends, delivering insightful narratives supported by data and visualizations.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders through dashboards, presentations, and reports.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in digital/OTT/e-commerce environments.
  • Solid understanding of marketing strategies, user segmentation, and retention principles.
  • Strong experience in SQL; familiarity with Python, model-building, or ML tools is a plus.
  • Comfort working with visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivoting, macros, advanced formulas).
