About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fundraising Manager to spearhead our sponsorship and fundraising efforts. This role involves securing sponsors and funding, cultivating relationships with partners and donors, and developing innovative fundraising strategies.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Sponsorship Acquisition: Identify, approach, and secure sponsors for events and international competitions.
  2. Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy that aligns with our goals and objectives, utilizing innovative approaches to maximize fundraising potential.
  3. Proposal Development: Create compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations to communicate the value of supporting our organization.
  4. Event Coordination: Collaborate with event organizers to ensure sponsor needs are met during events, facilitating sponsor branding and promotional activities.
  5. Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on fundraising activities, sponsorship agreements, and financial targets, providing regular updates to leadership.
  6. Network Building: Establish and grow a network of potential sponsors, partners, and donors within our community and internationally.
  7. Compliance: Ensure all fundraising activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards, adhering to our policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Proven experience in fundraising, sponsorship acquisition, or sales, preferably in sports or non-profit sectors.
  2. A strong network of contacts within the corporate sector, philanthropic organizations, or relevant industries.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to create persuasive proposals and presentations.
  5. Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve targets.
  6. Familiarity with Lacrosse or a strong interest in sports is advantageous.
  7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software is beneficial.

This is a percentage-based position, where compensation will be tied to funds raised. Specific terms and rates will be discussed during the interview process.
