Role Summary

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for driving operational excellence across all OBHG brands, including developing projects. This senior leadership role requires a strategic, hands-on professional who can translate the company's vision into measurable growth, profitability, and brand consistency. The COO will oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, develop high-performing teams, ensure financial performance, and scale the business through growth, innovation, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Growth

  • Work closely with the CEO to define and execute OBHG's long-term growth strategy.
  • Lead the expansion of OBHG brands through new outlets, franchising, and regional growth opportunities.
  • Drive initiatives to achieve targeted EBITDA margins (15%+).

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily operations of all OBHG brands, ensuring consistency in service, quality, and compliance.
  • Implement systems, SOPs, and KPIs for efficiency, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor restaurant performance (sales, guest satisfaction, costs) and ensure corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food quality standards.

Financial & Performance Management

  • Manage P&L for all brands, with responsibility for revenue growth, cost control, and profitability.
  • Implement strong financial controls and reporting systems in coordination with the CFO/Finance Team.
  • Optimize supply chain and vendor management to improve cost efficiency.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor department heads, restaurant managers, and support functions.
  • Build a performance-driven culture with clear accountability and recognition.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and retention of top talent in line with OBHG's growth needs in coordination with HR.

Guest Experience & Brand Development

  • Drive guest-centric strategies to enhance satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.
  • Partner with marketing to develop innovative campaigns, seasonal menus, and brand activations.
  • Ensure consistent brand positioning across all outlets.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality/restaurant management (multi-unit experience essential).
  • Proven track record in driving operational excellence, profitability, and expansion.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L of large-scale operations.
  • Hands-on leadership style with ability to inspire and develop teams.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (international education/experience preferred).
