**Gaming UI/UX Designer - Software Development**

About the Job

As a Gaming UI/UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our software solutions. You will work closely with our product management and engineering teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and usability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop game user interfaces that are intuitive and engaging
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions and improve user experience
  • Develop visual systems that achieve goals from both game design and UX perspectives
  • Iterate designs according to work reviews, changing requirements, and user feedback
Requirements
  • 6 months – 2 years of experience in the gaming industry
  • Strong knowledge of software used in UI development, preferably including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Unity UI
  • Extensive experience in a UI/UX design role within the games industry and shipped at least one commercial title
  • Able to communicate vision to designers, artists, developers, producers, and others involved in the development process
  • Keen interest in general in User Interface design, the field of User Experience, and continued development of these subjects
  • An appreciation of graphic design and typography trends, with an eye for composition, balance, and readability
  • Critical thinking ability to understand how a feature will improve overall user experience, move metrics, and prioritize features
  • Excellent graphic design and visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
  • Up-to-date with latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Outstanding skills in designing and creating assets/visuals for games
