Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of finance and accounting functions, including MIS, banking, income tax, sales tax matters, costing, budgeting, financial planning & analysis.
  • Assist the Manager Finance in implementing internal control over all financial transactions.
  • Produce monthly management accounts to meet set deadlines.
  • Analyze cash flow and financial statements to identify potential weaknesses.
  • Assist in preparing monthly and annual accounts, inventory movement reports, and periodic cash flow statements.
  • Support matters related to planning and implementation of business transfers from sole proprietorship to AOP/Limited company.
  • Verify all payment invoices, orders, control sheets, and cheques.
  • Supervise credit/vendor management, oversee cost accounting management, and improve processes.
  • Implement internal controls relating to Finance & Accounts.
  • Supervise checking sales reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and bank positions.
  • Verify and supervise filing monthly/quarterly annual income tax and sales tax returns.
  • Prepare detailed expenses and comparative statements on a monthly basis or as required.
  • Manage petty cash effectively.
Job Specification

Requirements:

  • ">
  • ICMA (Stage 4 completed)
  • MBA (Finance) from a reputable business school.
  • 7-9 years of experience, with at least 2 years in the same position.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to report activities to the Manager/Directors.
  • Well-organized with good analytical and time management skills.
  • Good Problem Solving & Decision Making Skills.
