Job Title: Technical Director Nutrition And Food Fortification

The Role

The Technical Director of Nutrition and Food Fortification will lead the design and implementation of key technical components for national food fortification programmes. This position requires high-level leadership skills and experience in public health, nutrition, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance and support to programme staff
  • Develop and implement under-nutrition strategies and planning initiatives for food fortification interventions
  • Work closely with government agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with food security and quality control regulations

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant post-graduate degree in a field such as nutrition, public health, or a related field
  • At least 15 years' experience in public health, nutrition, or a related field
  • Proven technical leadership and management skills
  • Experience working with government agencies and regulatory bodies
