Operational HR Support Role

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to provide a full range of HR operational support to our business on all aspects of the employee life cycle.

Maintaining Employee Records and Standard Documentation

We are seeking an experienced HR Officer to manage the entire gamut of recruitment process from submitting an advert through to the induction of a new starter. This includes maintaining employee records and standard documentation in staff personal files, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities
  1. HR Systems Management: Ensure staff data is accurate and up-to-date to allow for accurate reporting.
  2. HR Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports as required by management to support decision-making.
  3. Payroll Administration: Be the primary contact for payroll to ensure that payroll changes (e.g., joiners, leavers, promotions, pay rises, other contractual changes) are actioned correctly and in a timely manner.
  4. Employee Benefits Administration: Maintain databases/records of staff leaves, medical insurance, and other benefits.
  5. HR Process Implementation: Lead the implementation of HR processes such as annual appraisals, probation/contract reviews, staff surveys, review of job descriptions, etc.
  6. Staff Training and Development: Assist managers/leads in identifying staff training needs, researching and proposing appropriate training plans for staff, and organizing training events.
  7. Employee Relations: Provide support on employee relations cases from initial advice to managers through to complete management of grievance and disciplinary/capability cases.
Requirements

We require:

  1. At least 5 years of experience as an HR Officer in a fast-paced working environment.
  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. Confident Microsoft Office user, particularly MS Excel.
  4. Outstanding organization and time management skills.
  5. Previous hands-on experience of HR software/information systems.
Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree holders in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related fields. Good working knowledge of the entire gamut of HR functions, particularly recruitment, onboarding, training & development, appraisals.
