Job Description

Role SummaryThe Chief Financial Officer is a strategic business partner who plays a critical role in shaping the company's financial operations. This key position is responsible for ensuring the company's financial stability and alignment with its overall strategy and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Strategy Development: Develop, implement, and oversee the company's financial strategy, identifying opportunities to drive growth and maximize shareholder value.
  2. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  3. JV Operations Management: Manage Joint Venture Operations to ensure compliance with PCAs, AFEs, and approved JV budgets.
  4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts, ensuring that operations stay within budgetary constraints.
  5. Capital Structure Management: Manage the company's capital structure, including raising capital, managing debt, and making investment decisions to maximize shareholder value.
  6. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks such as market, credit, and operational risks.
  7. Accounting Practices: Ensure robust and compliant accounting practices and financial controls.
  8. Tax Strategies: Oversee tax strategies, including planning opportunities and compliance with tax laws.
  9. Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow and liquidity, overseeing reserves and short-term investments.
  10. Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team to ensure effective operation and high-quality financial services.

Job Requirements

Candidate must be a member of a recognized professional accounting body with at least five (05) years of relevant experience, or hold a master's degree in finance from a recognized university with at least ten (10) years of relevant experience.

Work Location

This position is based at the Head Office.
