  • We are looking for a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team.
Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing personalized therapy plans for patients;
  • Conducting regular standardized assessments to monitor progress or decline;
  • Facilitating teaching sessions for parents and organizing group sessions;
  • Providing training on standardized tests, therapy plan development, execution, and monitoring;
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of patient notes and educational plans;
  • Ensuring compliance with department policies and organizational quality standards;
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives under supervision;
  • Attending/participating in departmental meetings, conferences, seminars, and lectures;
  • Engaging in academic activities and staying updated on the latest training for fellow therapists;
  • Complying with clinical and managerial key performance indicators related to JCIA, patient care, and administrative outcomes;
  • Following organizational and departmental policies, and working according to defined quality and clinical practice guidelines.
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in Occupational Therapy or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institution with at least 16 years of education completed;
  • At least 3-4 years of relevant experience working with children independently in a recognized healthcare organization;
  • The ability to perform standardized assessments of patients and monitor and record patient progress;
  • Knowledge of counseling and other healthcare techniques;
  • The ability to formulate care plans and deliver care to patients with complex needs;
  • A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to challenges associated with neuro-rehabilitation, and a positive attitude towards guidance and constructive criticism;
  • The ability to effectively work in teams as well as independently and contribute to ongoing rehabilitation team building;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and manage relationships with peers and rehabilitation team members as well as patients and their families;
  • An ability to conduct afternoon and evening clinics.
