**Cloud Solutions Architect Position**

About This Role

This Sr. Cloud Architect position plays a critical role in driving our organization's cloud strategy forward.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud computing principles and have hands-on experience with cloud-based technologies.

This role involves leading cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions that meet business requirements and align with best practices.

The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting scalable cloud solutions that harmonize seamlessly with clients' existing IT ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Cloud Platforms:
    • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security.
    • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, BigQuery, and Kubernetes Engine.
    • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services offerings, including EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, and IAM.
  • Architecture Design:
    • Ability to architect highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud solutions integrations that meet business requirements and align with best practices.
    • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud solutions to leverage the strengths of different cloud providers while ensuring interoperability and security.
  • EDM/Data Lakes and Data Warehouses:
    • In-depth understanding of data lake architecture principles and best practices, including data ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics.
    • Hands-on experience with data warehouse design patterns and methodologies, such as star schema, snowflake schema, and data vault.
    • Experience with cloud-native data lake and warehouse services offered by Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Amazon Web Services.
  • CI/CD & IAC:
    • Familiarity with integration of data pipelines into CI/CD workflows for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
    • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps), and deployment automation techniques for data infrastructure.
    • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools and frameworks such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
    • Experience automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management using scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, or any relevant field from a reputable institute.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years focused on cloud infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Amazon Web Services Infrastructure as a Service platforms.
  • Strong CPG Data & Analytics background, with experience working on complex data sets and data cubes, AI modeling and experience is a plus.
