**Job Overview:** As a seasoned Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of engineers in the completion of projects. Your mission is to help the team deliver reliably, scale sustainably, and stay obsessed with code quality and user value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed plans for new designs and products.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers in the completion of projects.
  • Hire, train, and supervise engineering staff.
  • Conduct research and development for new designs, products, and processes.
  • Ensure the technical accuracy of the team's work.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience securing and scaling SaaS products for enterprise customers (multi-tenancy, SSO, RBAC, compliance frameworks).
  • Familiarity with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and automated infrastructure testing.

Skills and Requirements:

  • 8+ years total professional software development experience, including 3+ years directly managing engineers.
  • Advanced, hands-on expertise in PHP (8.x) and Laravel (10.x).
  • Proven record in architecting and maintaining scalable RESTful APIs, micro-services, or monoliths refactored toward service-oriented patterns.
  • Strong grasp of relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL), query optimization, and migration strategies.
  • Experience with modern front-end stacks (Vue.js, React, or similar) sufficient to collaborate effectively with full-stack developers.
  • Solid CI/CD tooling knowledge (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar), containerization with Docker, and at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Demonstrated success in coaching and performance-managing developers, running technical interviews, and scaling teams.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; able to draft clear technical docs and communicate with senior leadership.
