Sought-after Database Security and Analytics Professional

We are looking for a skilled individual to assume responsibility for the installation, configuration, and management of database security and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Guardium appliances and agents, as well as certification in IBM Guardium Admin or equivalent.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating database incidents through IBM Guardium data monitoring and protection tool. Key responsibilities include:

  • Installation and configuration of Guardium appliances and agents on database servers
  • Patching of Guardium appliances and renewal of license
  • Monitoring and evaluation of database incidents through IBM Guardium data monitoring and protection tool
  • Data discovery and classification with stakeholders to prioritize implementation of security solutions
  • Request assistance from application owners to identify sensitive objects in databases
  • Monitoring and auditing of all database activity, including privileged user activity
  • Analysis of database risks through data analytics of existing logs
  • Secure storage of audit logs to a central server outside the audited database
  • Automation of database incident reports and resolution of incidents with data owners
  • Enforcement of separation of duties by monitoring and logging database administrator activities
  • Monitoring of user behavior and identification of risks through active threat analytics
