The position of Senior Wordpress Developer encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including the creation and maintenance of both front-end and back-end development for WordPress themes and plugins.

Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing approved user interface designs into functional WordPress custom themes using Elementor / WP Bakery.
  • Ensuring high-performance and availability by overseeing all technical aspects of the CMS.
  • Assisting in formulating an effective design strategy and transforming it into a working theme and plugin.
  • Proper commenting and adherence to code repositories are mandatory; individuals should be able to follow established processes instead of direct code changes via FTP / Cpanels in theme / code files on servers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in designing and developing responsive web pages for desktop and mobile screens.
  • Proficiency in debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
  • Ability to convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into functioning HTML and WordPress pages.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
  • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development for custom functionality implementation.
  • Familiarity with WP Functions, hooks, and APIs.
  • Capability in designing and developing custom themes and pages using WP Bakery / Elementor.
  • Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
  • Excellent communication skills in English for daily meetings with the Product Owner.
