Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Server to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable experience.

You will take pride in providing attentive and courteous service to our restaurant patrons, taking food and drink orders, serving the orders, and accommodating special needs/requests. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards, and following established procedures for handling guest checks and payments.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, interact with a diverse range of customers, and develop your skills in communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and serve food and beverage orders to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the workplace, including restocking and cleaning duties.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and comments in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Accurately handle guest checks and payments, using tact and understanding when dealing with customer service issues.
  • Attend all pre-meal and departmental meetings to stay informed about products, services, and facility updates.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar position, preferably with a minimum of three months' service.
  • Basic knowledge of customer service principles, food server functions, and restaurant operations.
  • Standard cash-handling procedures.
  • Fluent oral and written English skills.
  • Vision ability to clearly see detailed guest checks, computer printouts, and written instructions.
