Job Title: Associate - Tax & Accounting

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate - Tax & Accounting to join our team at HR POD - Hiring Talent Globally. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax and accounting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tax and accounting advice to clients, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting documents.
  • Conduct audits and reviews of financial statements and tax returns.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies for clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with these changes.

Requirements:

  • University graduate in Finance and Accounting.
  • Proficient in VAT and Tax Computations.
  • Must be ACCA/ CA / CPA /CMA qualified or part-qualified.
  • 1 to 4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an accounting firm.
  • Excellent knowledge of Accounts Payable and Receivable.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Quality standards and quality assurance policy and procedure.
  • Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
